High Society Hyungshik #Episode 5 & 6

Finally, caught up with High Society. I had some time to spare so checked this out based on my friend's rec. It's a watchable drama but not addicting. I'm mainly watching for the second couple. Hyungshik looks gorgeous in High Society. I'm digging his new hairstyle so much. My eyes are drawn to him whenever he appears on scene. The main couple, UEE and Sung Joon, do not have any chemistry. I actually liked UEE in her previous dramas Ojakgyo Brothers and You're Beautiful but for some reason I don't like her acting in her newer dramas. I tried watching Hogoo's Love but wasn't able to finish mainly because of her. Netizens seem to agree: "[+2114, -279] I don't know if she's a good actress or not. Her problematic enunciation is distracting. I couldn't focus and I kept looking at her tongue when she delivers her lines. She has a long tongue which seems to affect her enunciation." I haven't watched any of Sung Joon's previous dramas so I don't know about his acting in his previous dramas. Im Ji Yeon's acting isn't that great either but at least Hyungshik makes up for it. It's great to see that idol-actors are getting the recognition they deserve. Yook Sungjae and D.O. also received praise for their acting despite being idols.
